[2019] PaViMo: A vigorous landscape with mobility
- PaViMo: A vigorous landscape with mobility
This research explores the conditions for a better joint consideration of landscape and mobility in urban planning, at a time when technological developments seem to be shaking up established patterns, by imposing new uses on public space.
It begins by analyzing the great disparities that persist between the most advanced actors and territories - users, federations, dedicated organizations, fervent or enlightened designers who have the means to devote themselves to this issue - and those who are lagging behind - non-metropolitan authorities, traditional planning actors, and still the majority of designers.
The study then proposes levers to initiate the transition, as well as their implementation: connecting actors, disseminating resources and tools for less advanced actors, and finally setting up and/or identifying pilot and emblematic projects combining landscape and mobility.
This project is financed by CDC mécénat.
