Are you interested in the effects of transportation systems on ecosystems, people, and climate change adaptation? The organizers, conference chair and steering committee invite you to participate in the 2019 International Conference on Ecology and Transportation (ICOET), which will be held in Sacramento, California (US), September 22-26, 2019. ICOET brings together scientists, planners, engineers, and policy makers to address critical issues associated with transportation impacts and potential solutions. The conference theme is “Achieving Balance in Ecology and Transportation”, reflecting the contemporary ecological challenges associated with meeting human and societal needs and desires for transportation. These will cover a wide range of research into transportation impacts on vertebrates and invertebrates, plant communities, connectivity, air and water quality, ecological processes, and adjacent systems during climate change adaptation (e.g., due to sea level rise).
